Christmas Day.

I couldn't wait until I could open my  first present from Santa. It was a puma bag with a water bottle and fairy book inside.  The name of the book was Willow's Under Water World.

I loved running through wrapping paper to see the presents under the tree. I wondered which ones were mine.  Daddy picked me to be the first to open a present. Santa gave me earrings, bubble bath, a bunch of Littlest Pet Shops. I also got some clothes, stencils, and arts and crafts.

Christmas Eve

Wed. Dec. 24 - Mom and Dad took us swimming at the Gym in the morning and then after Bree's nap we went over to Oma and Opa's.
While the grown ups worked on dinner, Uncle Kurt and I made sugar cookies to lay out for Santa.

All my cousins came over and we opened our presents to each other. I gave Tucker a king sized Kit Kat candy bar. Emma gave me some fun candies and small rubber shapes.

When we got home Daddy read the Christmas Story to us from the Bible.

Sleeping under the Christmas Tree

Monday, Dec. 23 - Every year Oma and Opa invite us grandkids over to sleep under their Christmas tree. We made pizza, went caroling to Oma's neighbors when she gave them chocolate covered pretzels, watched Harry Potter, opened christmas pajamas, and ate a yummy breakfast.
Hallie, McKayla, Hannah, Stella, Emma all ready to open our gifts.

All the grandkids in our new p.j.'s - Opa, Breek Christy, McKayla, Stella, Zoe, Hannah, Carter, Tucker, Tyler, Emma, Stella, Aspen

Sound asleep in the living room.

Playing in the Snow

Sunday, Dec. 21 - It was fun playing in the snow. Dad helped us make a snowman. It was fun helping him.

Oma gave us buttons, a cheese stick, and hat to make our snowman complete.

Tuesday, Dec. 23 - Uncle Kurt built this ramp at Oma and Opa's for us to sled off of. It was fun. It's my turn!

dipping pretzels

Saturday, Dec. 20 - We bought pretzels and dipping chocolates to make our Primary Teachers a special gift to say goodbye and thank you. It was really messy and sometimes I licked my fingers and then I had to wash my hands. YUM. YUM. YUM.
Carter dipping in milk chocolate. Me dipping in white chocolate.

Girl's Night

Friday, Dec. 19, 2008 - After Mom and Dad took the whole family to see "High School Musical 3", Dad and Carter went to the Eagle High Varsity Basketball game.  That left Mom, Ellie, Bree and I for a girls night.  It was already Bree's bedtime (7:30 pm) so she went to bed.
Mom wanted to take pictures of Ellie since she was 3 months old that day.  I helped her out and even took some video of her myself.
Then Mom helped me make this apron.  I got to choose  which fabric I wanted from what she had in her closet.  It was a lot of fun and I think it's cute too!

Early Christmas

Dec. 6, 2008 - The Eagle Country Christmas was just down state street so we got to walk there.  We looked around at some shops. I saw some mugs, mittens and hats that I liked. There was also a small parade and we got to see a camel at the end.
Daddy lifted us up so we could see the mayor of Eagle talk.  It was fun.

Santa was also there. I like to sit on Santa's lap.  I asked Santa for a "Littlest Pet Shop". He smiled at me.

Leaf blowing and raking

Nov. 29, 2008 - We spent Saturday cleaning up all the leaves around the house we moved into a couple of a weeks before. It is right behind Opa's dental office. It was a lot of fun and I liked raking the leaves better than blowing them because the blower was really loud.

Daddy, Carter, McKayla

When we were finished working we got to put up our Christmas tree. Decorating the tree was a lot of fun. I liked choosing where the ordainments would go.

It was a lot of fun watching Dad put on the star.  When it was done, we ate pizza and watched "Elf" to get into the mood for Christmas.

Thanksgiving 2008

We had Thanksgiving at Oma and Opa's house.  Uncle Jed, Aunt Maria, Tucker, Hannah, Hallie, Stella, Zoe, Aunt Kristen, Emma, and Aspen came too.  My favorite food was pumpkin pie, turkey, green beans, rolls, and mashed potatoes.

My favorite activity was peeling and eating apples. They were really good and I liked making them into spirals.

Oma thought it would be fun for us grandchildren to make gingerbread houses while we waited for dinner.  I loved putting it together and putting lots of candy on the house.  I put so much stuff on the roof it fell down.

Here is a beautiful display of our gingerbread houses.  Emma's had the most candy.

My tooth was really loose.  I pulled it forward and it would get even looser.  Oma wanted a picture to remember how I had a loose tooth on Thanksgiving.

Hannah was my partner in pulling out my tooth.  I was a little scared to pull it out and she coached my into doing it. I didn't want Hannah to watch so she covered her eyes and I pulled it forwards as far as I could and I said, "I did it, I did it, my tooth is out!"

Aunt Kaydrielle's Wedding

Aunt Kaydrielle married Uncle Zach Pickett on November 22, 2008. They were married in the Albuquerque, NM Temple. Uncle Brady and Uncle Camden watched me and I got to walk two laps around the temple while we waited. After that, I did figure 8's around Uncle Camden and Uncle Brady. When Aunt Kaydrielle and Uncle Zach came out of the temple, I ran up and gave them a hug.  Then we took pictures.

Mr. and Mrs. Zach Pickett

The food was delicious. Especially when I dipped it in chocolate.

I like the cake a lot. It was yummy too.

I was a flowergirl. It is my second time being one. The first time was for Aunt Erin and Uncle Corey's wedding. My mom made the skirt and bought the jacket.

Dancing with Daddy. I like to dance with him.
